Organic Platycodon grandiflorus seeds produce charming perennial plants named for their balloon-like buds that open into star-shaped blossoms. Commonly called balloonflower, these hardy flowers thrive in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil, adding long-lasting color to borders, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. Balloonflowers are known for their upright habit and deep green foliage, which creates a beautiful contrast with their soft blue, pink, or white blooms. Once established, they are drought tolerant and return reliably each year, making them a favorite for gardeners seeking low-maintenance perennials. Their sturdy stems hold well in bouquets, and their whimsical buds delight both children and adults in the garden.
